As the chairman of the local organisation committee and representative of the South African National Space Agency (SANSA), I look forward to welcoming you to Cape Town, South Africa from 18 – 22 May 2020 for SpaceOps 2020.
SpaceOps 2020, hosted by SANSA, will provide the opportunity for you to share experiences, challenges, and innovative solutions with colleagues from around the world. This conference aims to bring together the global space operations community to address state-of-the-art operations principles, methods and tools. Held biennially since 1990, the conference attracts technologists, scientists, and managers from space agencies, industry, and academia, and fosters managerial and technical interchange on all aspects of space mission operations, including robotic and human spaceflight, Earth orbit and deep space missions, lunar and planetary missions, and orbital and surface operations.
SpaceOps 2020 will be held for the first time on the African continent, in the multicultural melting pot with a rich history, Cape Town, South Africa.
